Dr. Attai is a board-certified surgeon practicing in Southern California, and who since 2004 has focused her career exclusively on the care of patients with benign and malignant breast conditions.  She and her staff strive to provide high-quality care in a comfortable and personalized environment. Dr. Attai combines state-of-the art diagnostic and treatment techniques with complementary therapies. Areas of expertise and interest include breast ultrasound, cryoablation, accelerated partial breast irradiation, and the role of diet and lifestyle in disease prevention and treatment.

A native of New York, she was educated at Vassar College and then received her medical degree with honors at the Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC. After completing her surgical training at the Georgetown University Hospital, she was in practice in Northern Virginia for almost 5 years; she relocated to Southern California in 1999.

Dr. Attai is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, serving as Chair of the Communications Committee as well as a member of the Board of Directors. She also serves as course and meeting faculty, and plays an active role in the education of breast surgeons. She is certified by the American Society of Breast Surgeons for the performance of breast ultrasound, and her private practice, the Center For Breast Care, Inc., is accredited by the American Institute for Ultrasound in Medicine. Locally, she is a member of the medical staff at the Providence St. Joseph Medical Center and the Providence Tarzana Medical Center.

She is a supporter of community events and is a member of the Board of Advisors for Circle of Hope Inc., a local non-profit organization which provides financial support to women with breast cancer in the Santa Clarita Valley. She is an often-quoted expert for local and national television and on-line media on issues related to women's health, and breast disease diagnosis and treatment.
